Letter from our outgoing branch treasurer, Annette Greenland, to all current members:

“The meeting will begin at 6p.m. at the Faulkner County Library. Several topics are on the meeting agenda (see event details / about section).

A top priority will be the election of a branch president (“administrative officer”) and a branch treasurer (“financial officer”). Because some of you don’t know each other very well, please consider nominating yourself for one of these positions.

The attached position descriptions (see additional discussions) are from the AAUW national website. Ask yourself, “What are my strengths?” “What’s my experience?” “How interested am I in learning new tasks?”

Every branch is required to have a president and a treasurer. Other positions such as public policy chair, funds chair, and diversity chair may be considered later as we develop goals and plan special events.”

We will be accepting new members at the meeting! Please bring cash or (ideally) checks if you would like to pay dues* at this meeting.

*We will be offering additional ways to pay dues in the future, but it’ll take a few months to get set up.
